Construction seen through women’s eyes

No limits on imagination

19 November 2020

Man does not have limits in his imagination and ambition.

Although I came in on building two houses, I couldn’t see beyond some bricks, cement bags, and scaffolds even in the background. If I had to think about how I see construction, sites, and buildings, those would have been nothing more than simple flats, houses, garages, and so on. It wouldn’t have been something special, but now, when I realise the opportunity of hiring so many places, I could see beyond simple construction. Those vast buildings or even the glass ones enthral me, and wonderingly I realise that man has no limits on his imagination and ambition; he builds up some projects you are stunned.

I am so proud of these men who lines everything, brick to brick, oversteps himself, but what makes me even prouder is the fact that, over the last years, women have been so ambitious, and they proved they could cope with any challenge; woman herself can work in a site, not only working in an office or front of a computer.

Fearlessly, the man proved he could do anything when he aims something, and this is what our sky-lifted eyes could see in those buildings. Surprisingly beautiful! We hardly catch the last level.

What surprised me even more was my child’s thoughts and imagination. One evening, while trying to explain to him that I have a ‘small future project’ I intended to work for, he requested me to allow him to build a shop for myself, a small shop. As he loves everything connected to construction, he asked me to let him have a folder consisting of everything I needed, and he started to put down different lines. He closed his eyes as he counted several things, where he wrote numbers. That’s true; he put down how many screws, bricks, hinges, and such things he needed. When I was a child, I used to play with mud, dolls, and little cars, but he is only six, and he was able to sketch what construction means; calculations, drawings, as he knew the best.

In the end, I concluded that technology advanced so much, so we can allow our imagination to set a stamp because we do not fail, especially when we come across people who love what they do.
