Durabilitate. Utilitate. Frumuseţe. These are the principles that very own father of architecture, Vitruvius, was talking about and which I’ve been carefully analysing, and I’ve thought thoroughly when I designed in my mind the place of spiritual comfort, which we call it simply: home. 

  A free, independent, workaholic, and perfectionist woman will always have a hectic life and as little time for herself. I already am, and I wish to continue to be like this, which is why I’ll need my own space of self-retrieval and detach from urban bustle and society’s problems. And here’s how the woman inside me wants this place to look like:

  Situated in a place from where I could have the panoramic view over the city, as famous as suites of the spectacular New York City, my house will have an interior design based on simplicity, black & white, naturality, on the one hand, glamour and preciousness, on the other hand. The design of the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and the living room will consist of a mix of black and white elements along with golden details that bring a dose of gracefully which I find in my personality, with the mention that the bathrooms will come alive by the green of the plants that will cover the walls. The warm lights, positioned in the extremities of each room, the simplistic and carefully selected furniture with neutral-grainy shades, the minimalist carpets, and the stark white curtains alongside the huge chandeliers that could blow any guest’ mind, will create a perfect atmosphere for a complex woman. Practising as a prosecutor, as I wish, I’ll need my place for inner contemplation, and it will be the suspended balcony, made entirely of glass, where I’m going to feel free and powerful, where I’m going to drink my coffee in the mornings of productive days and through which I’ll be watching the world that waits to be conquered. 

  I think that the most special room in my house will be dressing. Here, every one of us feels in the true sense of the word, like a woman. Here should be the mirror walls in which I will see myself every day, large closets and lights such as the red carpet, elements that will contribute to the daily scenery in which I will admire myself and feed my self-esteem. This detail is the one that will complete my dream house, which I can readily describe. Simplicity. Preciousness. Warmth.

  Women have a vision, and I believe that everyone should hear them. The architecture and design are different and unique (as we all are) if a woman puts her mark on them.
