\u00a0 \u00a0Cottage House Refurbishment project was a \u00a3120k refurbishment house. It encircled the open space extension, loft conversion, renovation, refurbishment, and back yard to an old 1900\u2019s home, including asbestos removal and mechanical & electrical re-design and improving the house thermos efficiency.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0The house was positioned on the valley of the Thames, in desperate need of stabilisation works. The Landlord has defined the scope of works. He developed the specification that encompassed all the necessary restoration works following a few months of monitoring and getting the relevant permissions in place.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0In May 2016 County Council granted planning permission for the works. The Landlord fully funded the project, and he was acting as the Project Manager responsible for the design, contract management, and cost control of the Contract.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00cen urma unei licita\u021bii competitive,\u00a0<\/span>Civcons Design\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>was appointed as the Main Contractor, and we realised that this would be an extraordinary project indeed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0In the 1900s, they built this Cottage house to accommodate a small family. In\u00a0<\/span>2007<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0they sold it at the cost of a total of\u00a0<\/span>\u00a3432,500<\/span><\/strong>. In 2016,\u00a0<\/span>Echipa Civcons Design<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0a \u00eenceput pe \u0219antier pentru a finaliza lucr\u0103ri in valuare de\u00a0<\/span>\u00a3120,000.<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0worth of works. Completing one week before the deadline on the 19th of May 2017 \u2013 over the 18 weeks, the team provided value designing options that saved the client money and improved the efficiency of the building.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
